Welcome To WCG Children's Ministry

WCG Children's Ministry operates under the umbrella of Winners Chapel of Ghana, and is a dynamic children’s ministry that services children ages 3 months to 12 years old. WCG Children's Ministry has a nursery and numerous classrooms for our older children including children who require special accommodations. Here, at WCG Children's Ministry, we understand that we are developing the next generation of leaders. . . a privilege that we do not take lightly. We delight in providing our children with a true experience with God, which is accomplished through sound, biblically-based teaching, in a fun environment and a teaching staff that loves children, and are quite simply, the best at what they do. On a weekly basis, we teach our children the core values of Destiny World.

It is imperative to us that our children leave our presence understanding how special they are to God and that they belong to Him!

We accept infants as early as 3 months of age into Destiny World. Each infant or toddler will receive one on one attention from trained staff and volunteers & keep our infants and toddlers involved in learning about Jesus Christ, our Savior.

Goal

Our goal in children’s ministry is two-fold with the first goal being effectiveness. We desire to be effective in meeting the needs of our children. Secondly, we desire to show the children an attainable God who can meet their needs and fill every void.

Mission

Our mission is to introduce children to Jesus Christ in a manner that transforms their lives by encouraging them to develop a personal relationship with Him through prayer and a solid foundation of biblical truths.

Music and Fine Arts

Gifted Stars

Are you planning to bring your child to the Gifted Stars classroom for the first time? If so, please complete the Gifted Stars Welcome Packet and turn it in to your child's teacher on your first visit. This will help us to better serve your child in excellence.

Gifted Stars strives to ensure that our children with special needs understand that they are uniquely gifted and are valuable to the Kingdom of God. After consulting with parents of our Gifted Stars and industry experts, we have created an environment to ensure that their physical and spiritual needs are met and that they have an opportunity to continue to thrive and excel.

Baby Dedication

Destiny World offers a Baby Dedication Ceremony to our members with children ages 3 months -5 years. We believe that our Baby Dedication Ceremony is a parent’s public commitment made before God, family, friends and the congregation, of their choice to raise their child in the distinct awareness of our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ; as well as dedicate themselves to being Godly parents. A parental consent form must be signed and submitted to Destiny World prior to the ceremony. For more information, please call 214-331-0954 ext. 1762.

Children's Water Baptism

We offer water baptism to our member's children, ages 6-12. Baptism is the next step in their walk of faith. Every month we teach the reasons for and the benefits of water baptism, in order to inform the children of a very important step in their pursuit of Christ. Children's Baptisms are scheduled quarterly. The procedure for baptism is full submergence in water and is performed by qualified Elders. A parental consent form must be signed and submitted to Destiny World prior to the ceremony.

Infant Zone

Welcome to Infant Zone!

WCG Children Ministry accepts infants once they have reached 3 months of age. Each infant or toddler will be nurtured by loving volunteers who will take care of both your child’s physical and spiritual needs. It is our desire to assist you in the spiritual development of your child, to that end we have developed age appropriate curriculum content to minister the message of Jesus to children of all ages.

What to Bring:

When packing a diaper bag for your child, please include the following items:
  • Two or three diapers
  • A complete change of clothes
  • Bottle of milk, formula, juice or water (this is a good practice even for mothers who nurse)
  • Please label all personal items (including pacifiers and sippy cups) with your child’s first and last name before arriving at your child’s class. This will help us keep track of your child’s items.
